ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Position Overview
The Associate Teacher position is a supporting role for the Autonomy Level 2 Learning Guide. Red Bridge does not group students by grade level but byAutonomy Level. Lead Teacher

Site Director:
Site Directors (SDs) oversee all aspects of an Aim High summer school campus to ensure high-quality implementation of the six-week academic enrichment and youth development program. This is a year-round position with full-time summer hours and minimal (5-10 hours a month) requirements Aug-May. With support from other Aim High staff, SDs are responsible for hiring, training, and overseeing summer faculty, typically 15 to 30 staff members, along with some student recruitment responsibilities and admissions decisions. Our first school, Beta Academy in Richmond, CA, opened in 2014 and ChangeMakers Academy in Vallejo, CA opened in fall 2016. We plan to open additional schools in future years as we grow to nearly 4,000 seats TK-12 in the Bay Area.

The Saklan school is currently seeking a Lower Elementary teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must be fluent in progressive educational theory and practices, be culturally competent, and have previous classroom teaching experience. We are seeking reliable, adaptable candidates with a nurturing and supportive approach to students.
Qualifications
Candidates must be fluent in progressive educational theory and practices, be culturally competent, and have previous classroom teaching/assisting experience. Candidates must have valid qualifications for working with preschool students, which include 12 core semester units (Child/Human Growth and Development, Child, Family and Community and Program/Curriculum). AA or BA preferred. Candidates must meet State Licensing requirements which include Live Scan Fingerprinting, current TB clearance, immunizations, health report, Adult and Child CPR and First Aid training. We are seeking candidates who are reliable, adaptable and have a nurturing and supportive tone with students.
