Credential and Masters
Earn a multiple-subject credential and Master’s in Education
About Credential and Masters
BATTI has teamed up with University of Pacific’s School of Education to create a hands-on credentialing program where paid teaching residents can earn their Master’s degree and a preliminary California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. The BATTI-Pacific program satisfies requirements set forth by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and gives residents a thorough introduction to all aspects of K-8 teaching.
Our small seminars with dynamic instructors and careful coaching from thoughtful, experienced supervisors create an atmosphere of reflection, collegiality and support to attract passionate people to the profession and help them thrive.
We believe in the power of community learning to create organizational and social change, transform schools, and improve the lives of future generations.
Pathways
The BATTI-Pacific Master of Arts in Education and preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential is a six semester evening and weekend program. The combined credential and Master’s sequence totals 32 units.
Option A: BATTI Bay Area (IN PERSON): Resident teachers who live in the Bay Area take classes in person in downtown San Francisco.
