Middle School Co-Teacher / Leave Replacement

Middle School Lead Teachers teach a specific subject and a specific grade(s) and also act as Advisors to a cohort of middle schoolers. This candidate would begin at the start of December and would start by shadowing the 8th Grade Social Studies teacher and eventually take the lead during the maternity leave for the remainder of the school year. Middle School teachers teach 3 sections. Each section has 3-one hour long blocks per week, for a total of 9-one hour social studies blocks. Along with this, the candidate would co-lead an advisory group of 14 students every morning. They would also support Learning Lab, a study hall period where advisors would support advises with homework and/or teachers and students choose to meet for extra support in that subject area (Social Studies).
