Tutor Corps • Portola Valley
Tutor Corps was founded in 2002 with the mission of providing exceptional 1:1 academic support. Today, we work with students primarily online and provide tutoring and homeschooling in all K-12 subjects, executive functioning coaching, learning differences support, and standardized test preparation.
We are currently seeking a teacher to work 1:1 with a 5th-grade student who is out of the classroom due to medical reasons. This role would be primarily an online, fully remote role, but will hopefully add in 1 or 2 in-person sessions per month in Portola Valley, CA later in the school year, as the student's health allows. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate educator who can meet with the student daily (2 hours/day, Mon-Friday) to administer the lesson plans provided by her teacher and guide her through her learning. This position will likely last for the full 2022-2023 school year. The tutor will earn up to $600/week for instructional time, plus additional paid prep time and the potential for a travel stipend.
