We are seeking a Long-Term Substitute for our Second Grade General Studies Teacher. General Studies includes Language Arts, Humanities, Math, Science, Social-Emotional Learning and Service Learning. The long-term substitute teacher will have the full-time support of the 2nd grade teaching assistants, an experienced team working with the students throughout the year; as well as ongoing mentoring and support from the Assistant Principal for Lower School and the Senior Administrative Team.

Responsibilities

● Support implementation of CCJDS’ K-4 social-emotional development curriculum, which

diverse group of students. For example, provide lessons on friendship/peer relations, social skills,

stress management and sensitive topics

● Participate in case management, assess therapeutic needs of individual students, consult with

● Lead professional development programs for faculty in areas related to student
