Responsibilities
Collaborate with a co-teacher to lead a combined 5th/6th grade class that fosters an environment where students feel supported to respect themselves, take intellectual risks, and develop respect and empathy for others
Provide engaging Humanities instruction encompassing English Language Arts and Social Studies
Lead a small Elementary, Middle School, or High School leveled math class
Offer an elective on a topic that interests and excites you
Participate in our camping program, which includes week long trips twice per year
Collaborate with administration and other grade-band teachers to continuously enhance and adapt our theme based expeditionary curriculum
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
Teaching credential desired.
Advanced degree highly preferred.
Experience
Experience working with children required.
Two years or more of teaching experience preferred.
