A K-8 independent school with approximately 185 students, accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. We are seeking a Part-time Middle School Math Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. CCJDS offers small class sizes, a supportive environment (including a teaching assistant), dedication to professional growth, and an innovative approach to learning.
Desired Qualifications:
● A bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution
● A teaching credential and/or master's degree
● Experience developing a differentiated, student-centered curriculum
● Experience creating a nurturing, mutually respectful environment both in the classroom and with colleagues and administrators
● Effective classroom management and organization skills
