Third Grade Head Teacher (Full Time, Immediate Start)

Position Description:

Town School for Boys seeks a full-time Third Grade Head Teacher to begin immediately for the 2023 - 2024 school year. The position requires working collaboratively with a full-time Resident Teacher and the other grade-level team members, including the third-grade head Teacher and Resident Teacher in the other third-grade classroom.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job Include: 

This position involves teaching one section of 25 students. There are weekly faculty meetings and lunch and recess duty obligations. The position also involves conducting daily student morning meetings as well as supervision of daily recess breaks for students. Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year.
