Tuition and Fees
For the Teaching Credential program class enrolled in fall 2017, tuition is $849 per unit for our 34 unit program, a total of $28,866. We anticipate per unit fees to increase slightly for the cohort that begins in fall 2018.
There is a one-time screening fee of $55 for our program, made payable to Bay Area Teacher Training Institute. The university graduate division charges a $26 application fee as well.
Financial Assistance Resources
We recognizes that making the decision to pursue a Master’s in Education (emphasis Teaching) and Teaching Credential is an important commitment of time, energy, and finances. We outline below the most common Financial Assistance Resources available to UOP/BATTI Ed Leadership candidates. There may be other resources available to you as well.
University of the Pacific Financial Aid Office
The Financial Aid office at University of the Pacific offers Stafford unsubsidized loans to eligible candidates. In order to determine eligibility for Financial Aid, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be completed and filed with the federal processor for FAFSA. You can file a FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov instead of using the paper form. After the Financial Aid Office at Pacific has received and reviewed your eligibility data from your FAFSA, a Financial Aid Offer Letter will be mailed to you detailing the types and amounts of Financial Aid dollars available to you.
School Professional Development Funds
Some of our coalition schools offer professional development funds to pay for part of their BATTI student’s tuition.
