Master’s in Educational Leadership
The University of the Pacific in partnership with the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute is proud to offer the Educational Leadership Program. The two-year program enables highly qualified K-12 educators to transform their education experience into a meaningful career in school leadership. This innovative program aims to contribute to the quality of public, private and charter leadership by preparing the next generation of school heads and principals, division heads, mid-level administrators and teacher leaders. The program builds a network of especially talented leaders who will collaborate across the diverse educational communities they serve.

Tuition & Financial Aid
Tuition for students enrolled in 2017 is $809 per unit. We anticipate a slight increase in 2018; once set, the fees remain the same for all 5 semesters. In 2017, the combined 33 unit Master’s and Administrative Services Credential costs $26,697. BATTI offers a limited number of need-based grants to students. Please contact us for a financial aid form when you submit your application. University of the Pacific offers Stafford Unsubsidized loans.
The new Master’s in Educational Leadership draws on BATTI’s core values, successes and relationships: “learning by doing,” mentorships, small cohorts, school partnerships, careful and personalized design, and graduates prepared for long-term success in a diversity of challenging environments. Since 2002 the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute (BATTI) has been contributing to the field of education through its successful two-year elementary school combined Master’s and credential program. BATTI’s core philosophy is “learning by doing” – BATTI students work as paid, full-time assistant teachers in schools in the Bay Area while taking graduate courses and working closely with thoughtful, experienced mentors in an atmosphere of reflection, collegiality, and support.
